In this post, I would like to describe one very simple strategy – a framework based on a single software called R, an open source software widely used for statistical analysis and data science. Essentially, the framework is consisting of a statistical software, a scripting language, and an open-source software with a large set of user-contributed packages, and R works well in each of these categories. We started using R from 2007 for offline analysis, first deployed a market risk engine entirely written in R in 2013, and delivered a comprehensive risk framework in 2015. Continue Reading in LinkedIn
